San Diego, CA - September 5, 2002 - Acucorp, Inc., an international provider of application extension solutions, recently announced its collaboration with Ordina Denkart NV, a worldwide migration and re-engineering specialist as well as HP e3000 preferred migration partner. The collaboration, part of Acucorp's commitment to support the maintenance and modernization of COBOL business rules, will provide a comprehensive array of migration services to companies interested in moving their mission-critical applications from a proprietary platform to an open system- allowing them to leverage their trusted legacy assets on a non-proprietary platform.

As part of the agreement, Ordina Denkart's ViaNova migrations will offer the choice of using Acucorp's extend5 family of technologies in the target environment. ViaNova is an automated and efficient platform migration methodology and toolset. Available packages include ViaNova 3000, Ordina Denkart's solution for moving or re-engineering HP e3000 applications, ViaNova Wang, which migrates Wang VS applications to open systems using a chosen relational database, and ViaNova UNISYS, a service for migrating 1100/2200 COBOL mainframe applications to open systems with a relational database.
Companies that migrate to extend5 using Ordina Denkart's re-engineering tools and services will be able to take advantage of Acucorp's highly portable and interoperable legacy modernization solutions.
