Acucorp Forms Alliance with Pervasive Software

San Diego, CA - March 25, 2002 - Today Acucorp, Inc., an international provider of application development solutions designed to solve mission-critical business issues, announced an alliance with Pervasive Software® Inc. (Nasdaq:PVSW), a leading provider of embedded and Web database software. Included in this announcement is Acucorp's plan to develop and release an interface that will enable legacy applications to access Pervasive's leading database engine, Pervasive.SQL™ 2000i, which combines the high-performance of the Btrieve transactional engine with the functionality of a relational database management system. As a result, independent software vendors (ISVs) will be able to take advantage of the database's cross-platform support, scalability, performance reliability and flexible deployment - all at a significantly lower total-cost-of-ownership than other database alternatives.
