GUI Features of ACUCOBOL-GT

Because of the immense popularity of Windows, end-users are expecting user-friendly screens and menus when they work with business applications. And, programmers who write and maintain COBOL applications are often forced to change the user interface component of their programs in order to provide a graphical user interface (GUI).

ACUCOBOL-GT extended the COBOL syntax to create graphical windows and controls. This easy-to-learn enhancement works well with most existing COBOL applications and does not require a separate piece of software.

For a demonstration of most of the ACUCOBOL-GT graphical controls, Click here. In order to view the demo, you must have the ACUCOBOL-GT Thin Client (Version 8.0) installed. For installation click here.
