Ability to retain the "dot" extension in the filename

A new configuration variable, V_STRIP_DOT_EXTENSION, allows you to direct Vision to retain the "dot extension" in the filename. Ordinarily, Vision strips any trailing extension (e.g., ".dat") from the logical name of a data file when generating file names for index and data segments (except in the case of the first data segment). Use V_STRIP_DOT_EXTENSION to inhibit this behavior. See the entry for V_STRIP_DOT_EXTENSION in Appendix H of Book 4, ACUCOBOL-GT Appendices.
