Ability to recover deleted records
To make the most efficient use of space, Vision maintains a list of deleted records so that the space can be reused by new records when they are created. Vision 5 adds the ability to recover records that have been marked as deleted, but which have not yet been overwritten by a new record.
The new "-deleted" option to vutil looks for records marked as deleted and writes their contents to a sequential file. The use of "vutil -deleted" is similar to that of "vutil -unload" in that the output file is a sequential file containing records obtained from a Vision file.
